Academic Globe

Are there any academic discounts on laptops? Not something like 2% off.?

I am in the market for a laptop but being like most Americans I want to pay the least amount of money for the best product. :=) For example. I needed Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended but couldn't afford 1,000 but after doing some research they had an academic discount for only 299.99 but I had to send in proof I was in school. Is there anything like that with laptops? I'm not into Macs and the 2.5% appears to be a joke...thanks anyways

1. yes... Apple has them... select personal purchase and lookup your school: http://store.apple.com/Catalog/US/Images/routingpage.html Your school will have to provide the partner number they have for Dell. All depends on your school, but I save ~10% on various items.
